Hello!
My name Is Ji Yin and I’m a 23 year old Singaporean student. I am currently studying to be a preschool teacher and have had experience taking care of young children (aged 2-6 years old) in a child care centre setting. I love children and am a big advocate for children learning through play, this is why I decided to pursue a course in preschool education.
Prior to this, I attended the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, USA on a scholarship. With a passion for music as well as for educating children, I love to combine the two together to provide children with fun, active and musical experiences!
As a babysitter, I will be sure to respect your rules and follow instructions, while providing the children with a warm and safe environment where they feel loved and respected. I enjoy tapping into children’s various interests, strengths as well as weaknesses to help them develop holistically. And as mentioned before, I’m a big advocate for letting children play and I can provide children with different types and styles of games to engage and excite them. For children of an older age, I can supervise them as they complete their homework and/or other school tasks.
My other skills include being able to cook meals (I mainly cook Mexican, Italian, Western, Thai and Chinese food) and complete housework tasks, so this can always be discussed if you need some extra help around the house! I’d be happy to help!
I’m also a big lover of animals and will be happy to help you out in taking care of your furry family member while you are not home. I myself have 2 cats and 1 dog at home, so I’m very experienced in taking care of the pet’s various needs.
